Meals on Wheels Northeastern Illinois Annual Gala

The Annual Gala in support of Meals on Wheels Northeastern Illinois is officially sold out!

This special evening brings together supporters, volunteers, and community partners who share a commitment to nourishing both body and spirit across our region.

Set in one of Evanston’s most beautiful venues, the night will celebrate the impact of daily meal delivery, meaningful connections, and the neighbors we serve. Guests will enjoy dinner (menu) featuring some of the same meals we proudly serve to our clients, a silent auction, a program highlighting stories of individuals who receive meals and others who have been deeply touched by our mission, and a paddle raise.

The evening will also feature live music by Henri Harps, a versatile guitarist and bassist known for his work across jazz, rock, and experimental styles, and Steve Knight, a Chicago-based jazz guitarist and educator recognized for his melodic, groove-driven sound. Together, they will provide an engaging musical backdrop for this memorable event.

Attire is cocktail attire and City of Evanston public parking is located directly next door to the venue at the 1701 Orrington Ave. ground-level lot (enter through the alley on Church street). Additional public parking is available across the street at the 525 Church St. garage lot.

The silent auction is now live on the event page in the 'View Auction Items' button. Additional items will be added up to the beginning of the event. You may begin bidding immediately and continue placing bids up until auction close at the end of the event.
